The 2025 honey harvest season is officially over, and we're excited (and a little sad) to announce that our entire inventory is now sold out!

But don't worry, the bees are already busy preparing for next year! Stay tuned for updates on the 2026 harvest, which is scheduled to start in May of 2026.

Beekeeping since 2016, we are a small family business with a goal of providing pure raw locally sourced honey to our community in Loudon County VA. Elpitha has always been fascinated with bees and the way such tiny creatures can create intricate organized colonies and make honey out of just pollen and their own bodies! With the business skills of her husband Tom, combined with her beekeeping passion, Wax Works Studio LLC was born in 2023.
​We invite you to join us on our journey to supply our customers with honey in it's purest form, the way nature intended it, without the extra sugars, antibiotics, and pesticides that can be found in grocery store honey for the sake of cheap and fast production. Our honey is raw, pure, and responsibly sourced. It was pollinated from many herbs, trees, and wildflowers in the Northern Virginia Shenandoah wine country area. Enjoy our honey for it's many health benefits, such as reduction in inflammation, antibacterial properties, and more. We love it on toast, in our drinks, baked goods, or on a spoon! As the Fall of 2025 unfolds and the harvest season comes to a close, we reflect on the incredible variety this year has brought us.
Our hives are gearing up for winter, with our bee colonies preparing for the colder months ahead. We eagerly anticipate an even more bountiful harvest in 2026!
